The Government of Karnataka has promoted six IAS officers of the 2012 batch to Selection Grade. Officers elevated include Basavarajendra H, Dr Gopala Krishna, Dr Shiva Shankara N, Karee Gowda, Mrs Kavitha S Mannikeri and Shivananda Kapashi. Selection Grade marks a key seniority milestone in an IAS officer’s career and typically comes with higher responsibilities and pay scale. These promotions reflect completion of requisite service and performance benchmarks under cadre rules.
