External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Friday met UNESCO Director General Khaled El-Enany and underlined India’s commitment to advance engagement with the UN entity in culture, education and heritage preservation globally.
Jaishankar, who is on a six-day visit to France and Luxembourg, also interacted with members of India-France Parliamentary Friendship Group here.
“A multilateral world is inherently multicultural. Underlined India’s commitment to advance engagement with @UNESCO in culture, education and heritage preservation globally,” Jaishankar said in a post on X after meeting with El-Enany.
