Six IAS officers have been given new responsibility in Jharkhand. Pooja Singhal has been designated as Secretary, Industries Department with additional charge of Secretary, Mines and Geology, while Kamal Kishore Son has been posted as Secretary, Scheduled Tribes, Castes, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department and Amitabh Kaushal is Secretary, Department of Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs with additional charge of Secretary, Disaster Management Department. Besides, K Srinivasan will be posted as Secretary, Transport Department; Himanshu Mohan as Secretary, Jharkhand Public Service Commission and Amit Kumar has been made Excise Commissioner and given additional charge of Managing Director, Beverages Corporation.
