NBCC (India) Ltd. commemorated International Women’s Day with a prestigious event at the Convention Centre, East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi, reaffirming its commitment to gender empowerment and an inclusive workplace. As a tribute to dedication and excellence, NBCC honored its female employee Smt Rashmi Wadhwa for contributing over 30 years of service to the organization. Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman-and-Managing Director, presented mementoes to these employees, recognizing their significant role in the company’s progress. In his address, Shri Swamy reaffirmed NBCC’s commitment to gender equality and expressed gratitude for the hard work and dedication of its women employees. Hon’ble Justice Mini Pushkarna graced the event as the Chief Guest, adding to its significance. The celebration featured a range of engaging activities, including musical performances, painting competition, dance shows and a talent showcase, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere. Senior officials—Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects); Dr. Suman Kumar, Director (Commercial); Shri Anjeev Kumar Jain, Director (Finance); Smt Ritu Pande, Chief Vigilance Officer; and Shri Manas Kaviraj, Sr. ED (HRM)—delivered inspiring messages on gender empowerment and workplace inclusivity. Many women employees including former employees and their spouses participated in the event. The event was a strong reminder of the invaluable contributions of women in driving organizational success.
