The Ministry of Civil Aviation, in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India, celebrated the 11 th edition of International Day of Yoga 2025 at an event held at Aviation Park, Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, New Delhi under the theme "Yoga for One Earth, One Health". The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from officers and staff of MoCA and AAI, reflecting the spirit of wellness and holistic living through the practice of yoga. Shri Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation (HMCA) virtually addressed the event emphasizing the importance of integrating Yoga into daily life and highlighted yoga as an ancient Indian wisdom that promotes harmony of mind, body, and soul. HMCA applauded the initiative and encouraged everyone to make yoga a regular habit for improved physical and mental health. The program commenced with the lighting of lamp by Shri Samir Kumar Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, along with Shri Vipin Kumar, Chairman, AAI, Board Members, AAI and officials from MoCA. Secretary addressed the gathering, where he highlighted the ministry's and AAI’s commitment to promoting holistic wellness among its personnel and encouraged everyone to integrate yoga into their daily routines. A common yoga protocol session was conducted by yoga instructors from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) where participants engaged in various asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and guided meditation, creating an atmosphere of collective calm and mindfulness. The Ministry of Civil Aviation and Airports Authority of India reaffirm their ongoing commitment to supporting India’s rich heritage while fostering health, unity, and a stress- free environment within the aviation sector.
