Over 24 CSS cadre officers at the level of Under Secretaries have been appointed after their promotion to Deputy Secretary Grade. Accordingly, Ravti Saran Verma is designated with Investment & Public Asset Management; Shyam Sharan Shukla, S K Shrivastava, Abhay Jain, Sandeep Kumar, Narendra Gautam and Vinod Kumar with UPSC; Virender Singh with Home Affairs; Anurag Sharma with New & Renewable Energy; Anil Sharma with Justice; Dibakar Mishra and Alexander P Thomas with Women & Child Development; Ranjeet Kumar Sinha with Posts; Varinder Singh with Public Enterprises; Bherva Dutt with Education; V Srinivasaragavan with Personnel & Training; Raj Kumar and A N Venkatachala with Defence; R Mythili with Tribal Affairs; S Latha with SSC (HQ) and Pankaj Kumar was posted with Biotechnology.
