Madhya Pradesh IAS Transfer List Still Under Review After Two CM-Chief Secretary Meetings
The Madhya Pradesh IAS transfer list is under review after Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal and CM Mohan Yadav discussed it twice; several collectors are in play.
The much-awaited Madhya Pradesh IAS transfer list remains under review. Chief Secretary Ashok Barnwal and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav have discussed it twice, and no order has been issued.
Reports from the secretariat name some of the officers who could be affected. They include Urban Administration and Development Commissioner Sanket Bhondve and Gwalior Collector Ruchika Chouhan. Changes are also expected among several other collectors and senior secretariat officers.
Responsibilities linked to the Simhastha Mela are also part of the discussion. The Simhastha, held at Ujjain, draws crowds on a scale that needs dedicated administrative and civic arrangements, and the state has to decide which officers take up those assignments.
Collector postings carry particular weight, since the district head works daily with local legislators and the district administration.
For the officers on the list, the wait leaves postings in limbo. The transfer list is expected to cover district collectors as well as officers in Bhopal, and a delay holds up both groups.
No date has been fixed for the order.
