Dr Kalyan Sagar Nippani, Director (HR) at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), will continue to hold additional charge of the same post at Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) till December this year, according to an order of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
MTNL provides telecom services in Delhi and Mumbai, and BSNL runs the business across the rest of the country. The Director (HR) post on each board oversees personnel management, and Nippani covers the role for both companies.
