BHEL Board okays Rs 65 cr investment in JV NTPC BHEL Power Projects

State-owned engineering firm Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) on Monday said that its board has approved further equity investment of Rs 65 crore in NTPC BHEL Power Projects, a joint venture with NTPC Ltd.

BHEL Board okays Rs 65 cr investment in JV NTPC BHEL Power Projects

State-owned engineering firm Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) on Monday said that its board has approved further equity investment of Rs 65 crore in NTPC BHEL Power Projects, a joint venture with NTPC Ltd.

The main objective of the JVC is to carry out EPC contracts for power plants and other infrastructure projects, as well as manufacture and supply of equipment in India and abroad.

"Board of Directors in its Meeting held today (September 14, 2026) has, inter-alia, approved further investment of Rs 65 crore (in one or more tranches) as BHEL’s equity contribution in NTPC BHEL Power Projects Private Limited (NBPPL), BHEL’s Joint Venture with NTPC Ltd," an exchange filing said.
