The Uttar Pradesh Government is deciding upon a revision of the age bar policy for IPS officers’ field postings. The policy involves rules regarding field posting strains on aged IPS Officers. According to sources, those IPS officers who do not fit the new age criteria or failed in crime control are likely to be moved.
