Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Tuesday bestowed praises on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts towards safeguarding national security and offering good governance to the nation and said that this is the first time a Prime Minister has delivered to his promises and glorified the democracy.
While addressing an election rally in Begumganj, Yadav said, "The public gave the vote to PM Narendra Modi for national security and good governance. When our soldiers were continuously attacked at the borders and killed, the then government used to raise hands and say what should we do, this is all done by Pakistan."
"It was then that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government came to power and PM Modi said that 'Pakistan will have to pay a huge price,' and for the first time, it so happened that the Prime Minister of the country delivered to his words and the Balakot airstrikes were carried out in Pakistan, in retaliation to the February 14 Pulwama attack," he said.
