In a big support in fight against Covid-19 in Delhi, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has started the operations at Covid Care Centre at Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre at Radha Soami Beas, Chhatarpur, New Delhi. Sh Anil Baijal, Honble Lt Governor inaugurated the facility with Sh SS Deswal, DG ITBP. Sh Baijal congratulated ITBP for taking over the facility. He took a round of facilities at the centre and addressed the gathering. By taking over the world’s biggest covid care centre in New Delhi, the ITBP has once again
devoted itself to the service of the nation and its citizens in the challenging times under its mission to fight against Covid-19 as ‘Operation Corona Warriors’. After successfully running the largest quarantine facility of India in the initial days of Corona
spread and later managing and treating Covid19 infected serving and retired CAPF personnel and their
families at the 200 bedded CAPFs and AR Referral Hospital, Greater Noida, the ITBP today started
services at this Centre in New Delhi. The first corona positive patient to this centre- a 35 year old female from South Delhi was
received by the ITBP Doctors at around 1330 PM today. The ITBP has deployed its experienced and
expert team of Doctors and other health professionals to manage the patients at the facility.
