PM Modi inaugurates an Airport Complex at Bamrauli Airport of Uttar Pradesh


Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated a new airport complex at Bamrauli Airport in Prayagraj District of Uttar Pradesh on December 16, 2018. The inauguration saw the presence of Ram Naik, Governor of Uttar Pradesh; Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation; Keshav Prasad Maurya, Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh, Sidharth Nath Singh, Minister of Medical & Health, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Nand Gopal Gupta “Nandi”, Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Shyama Charan Gupta, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Nagendra Pratap Singh Patel, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha). PM praised the endeavor made by Airports Authority of India in accomplishment of the project of New Airport Complex in record 11 months and greeted Suresh Prabhu Minister of Civil Aviation and team of AAI. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Airports Authority of India is dedicated to offer air connectivity and evolve airport infrastructure throughout the country. Considering the proactive measures being taken by the government, India is already one of the fastest evolving civil aviation markets in the world. The New Airport Complex of Bamrauli Airport has been evolved by the Airports Authority of India, at the expenditure of Rs.164Crores. Bamrauli Airport belongs to the Indian Air Force and AAI takes care of a Civil Enclave spanning across there an area of 0.8 acres with limited operations through a small Terminal Building.
