HMCA inaugurates and lays Foundation Stone for various Aviation  Infrastructure Development Projects


Shri. Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister of Civil Aviation inaugurated and laid the Foundation Stone for the various infrastructure development projects for Eight AAI Airports through Video Link today. These Airports include Trivandrum, Calicut Airport in Kerala; Mangaluru Airport in Karnataka. Madurai Airport in Tamil Nadu; Rupsi Airport in Assam; Jaipur Airport in Rajasthan, Amritsar Airport in Punjab, Imphal Airport in Manipur. The ceremony took place at Airports Authority of India Officers’ Institute New Delhi in the august presence of Shri P. S. Kharola, Secretary, MoCA and Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman, AAI connected by formal events organised at respective locations through video link, attended by esteemed dignitaries of the state. Justice P. Sathasivam (Retd.), Hon`ble Governor of Kerala, inaugurated and laid the Foundation Stone for Projects of Trivandrum and Calicut Airport from Trivandrum Airport. Shri Vajubhai Vala, Hon`ble Governor, Karnataka laid the Foundation Stone for projects at Mangaluru Airport. Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon`ble Chief Minister of Assam laid the Foundation Stone for Development of Rupsi Airport from Rupsi in Assam.
