17 IAS officers given new postings in Punjab Government


The Punjab Government has got as many as 17 IAS officers to new places. Therefore, Sarvjit Singh had been shifted as Principal Secretary, Water Resources and Principal Secretary, Mines and Geology; Jaspal Singh has been assigned charge as Principal Secretary of Transport; Krishan Kumar has been made Secretary, School Education and Secretary, Governance Reforms and Public Grievances. Likewise, Vijay NamdeoraoZade's services are positioned at the disposal of the Department of Finance for taking over as MD, Punjab Infrastructure Development Board and as Secretary, Horticulture ; Ravinder Kumar Kaushik has been moved as Secretary, Power and New & Renewable Energy Sources and as Commissioner, Roopnagar Division, Roopnagar. In addition, Gurlovleen Singh Sidhu has been posted as DPI (Colleges), Devinder Pal Singh Kharbanda as Director, Industries and Commerce, Parshant Kumar Goyal as Director General, School Education and also as Secretary, Punjab School Education Board, Arvind Pal Singh Sandhu as Special Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs and also as Special Secretary, Labour, Sandeep Hans as Deputy Commissioner, Moga, Mrs Deepti Uppal services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Housing and Urban Development for posting as Chief Administrator, Amritsar Development Authority, Amritsar, Mrs Komal Mittal services are placed at the disposal of the Department of Local Government for posting as Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Amritsar and also as Chief Executive Officer, Amritsar Smart City Limited, Amritsar, Mrs Deepshikha Sharma as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Banga, M Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Hoshiarpur. Amit Kumar Panchal has been shifted as Sub Divisional Magistrate of Nakodar; AadityaDachalwal has been moved as Sub Divisional Magistrate, Budhlada while Ajay Arora has become new Sub Divisional Magistrate of DudanSadan with additional responsibility as Chairman of Improvement Trust, Amritsar to Ms Komal Mittal.
